CAROL’S PHILOSOPHY

Carol’s goal with every  student  is  to help them appreciate and understand the art, as well as, the science  of riding  and to create independent, confident riders.

In order to accomplish this she implements a holistic approach in her training and teaching.  She examines every facet of the horse/rider combination.  This includes appropriateness and fit of tack, movement of the rider, , conditioning  and movement  of the horse and the dynamics  of the horse/rider relationship.

Carol works  with riders of all ages and abilities from the youngster or adult just learning to ride to the intermediate rider that needs to fine tune their fundamentals or  work through an impasse  with their horse.

She then applies her knowledge of learning styles, bio-mechanics and horsemanship to assist the horse/rider team in achieving their full potential whether it be on the trail, the jump course or the in dressage arena.
